Sheila CallahamI have always enjoyed learning, so I appreciated the opportunity to attend a variety of training programs during my corporate career. I recall one session on “constructive contention” where we learned how to say what needed to be said in a way that led to positive outcomes versus meltdowns. One of the keys to how the discussion went was understanding the difference between needs and wants.

The difference?

Needs are not negotiable; hence, the reason I titled this post the way I did.

Are you serious about needing a life change? In other words, have you reached your limit? Do you fear for your health and wellness if you don’t make a change fast?

Bottom line: is your requirement for transforming your life non-negotiable?

Here’s the truth. In all my years of corporate training, I learned all kinds of clever ways to be a more productive employee. However, I never learned where to find the courage to follow my heart and pursue my passions. It took a different kind of training program to connect me with my inner wisdom, and find the courage to let go of my fears and believe in myself.

That program was the Quantum Success Coaching Academy (QSCA). Within six months of enrolling in this program, I resigned my corporate job of 15 years and began a new career as an “always-available-mother-and-wife, cross-genre writer, and life coach. That was the life I wanted more than anything else, but it took a lot of courage to release a high-paying corporate job to pursue my dream.

But I did it, and I’ve never looked back. Nor have I ever been happier than I am right now.

When  think back to how I felt before joining the QSCA, I can clearly see the symptoms of need. If any of these symptoms sound familiar, you are in a place of needing life change versus wanting life change.

9 Symptoms for a Needing Life Change

  1. You don’t feel like you are contributing to your full potential.
  2. You don’t feel excitement for your work as you once did.
  3. You feel like something is missing from your life, but you don’t know what.
  4. You find yourself daydreaming about an alternate life and career.
  5. You get excited when you meet people who have made successful transformational life changes.
  6. You don’t want to go to work anymore.
  7. You always feel tired.
  8. Your body is showing physical symptoms that have become constant, i.e., joint pain, rash, digestive issues.
  9. You feel an unrelenting omen in your heart that you must make a change in your life.

Sound familiar? If so, maybe you should take time out to have a real conversation with your heart and that unrelenting inner voice. What does your deepest wisdom encourage you to do? What is standing in between you and making taking that divine action? Is the barrier you just describe real — REALLY real, or is it just fear that you are using as an excuse to stay where you are?

Change is scary and transformational change can be paralyzing. But it doesn’t have to be.

My primary driver for entering the QSCA in the autumn of 2010 was to gain the tools and techniques I knew I needed to make a transformational change in my life. Along the way, I realized how much I enjoyed coaching others toward their life passions. In the end, I got everything I needed to step into my new life, plus I received amazing training that enabled me to become a successful life coach working from the comfort of my home.

The QSCA changed my life, and I’ve personally seen it change the lives of hundreds of other QSCA graduates. Whether you are looking for the tools you need to make a personal change in your life, or you want a quality coaching certification program to jump-start your coaching career, you’ll want to learn more about the QSCA.

Trust me when I say, you won’t be disappointed in what QSCA has to offer. With hundreds of pages of testimonials just like mine, you can feel secure in knowing this program is for real.
