I love a good quote to help me focus on what’s important. One reason I enjoy reading posts from Tiny Buddha is that each post begins with an inspiring quote. Tiny Buddha is a site focused on themes such as kindness, compassion, mindfulness, selflessness, non-attachment, finding purpose, and pursuing one’s dreams. Good stuff.

However, when it comes to inspirational quotes about business and leadership, Tiny Buddha didn’t quite fit the bill. While searching for a website or blog post with a collection of business quotes, everything I found leaned heavily toward one gender. I’m sure you can guess which one.

In the spirit of gender equity, I’m sharing 14 of my favorite quotes –seven come from women and seven from men. Yes, women can be very inspiring and business savvy.

See for yourself.
